Coach Bios

Head Football Coach, Tim King started his coaching career in 1985 at Billings West High School in Billings, Montana. He was able to coach in the 1988 State AA Championship game as an assistant coach but came up short with a 9-7 loss to Great Falls High School. Coach came to Valley in 1989 as a defensive coordinator and in 1997 became the head coach. In both 2002 & 2006, Coach King was named “New Haven Officials Association Coach of the Year”.

Paul Ginter attended Daniel Hand High School in Madison, CT. Paul was an All-Shoreline and Coaches All-State wide receiver while playing at Daniel Hand. Coach Ginter attended and played football at Wagner College in Staten Island, N.Y. Paul went on to coach at Old Saybrook High School for two years. Coach is entering his 10th season with the Warriors. He has been the Defensive Coordinator since his second season at Valley. Paul and his wife, Trish, reside in Old Saybrook.

Kevin Woods is entering his 5th year as an assistant. This year Kevin will be in charge of all the special teams units. He will also be working with the running backs and linebackers. Kevin is a Valley Regional graduate who played four years of football while at school. In these four years Kevin received numerous honors including All Pequot and All State in 1998. Kevin was also a captain his senior year and one of the teams co-MVP's. Kevin went on to play four years of college football at Division II Saint Anselm College, where he received a degree in history. Kevin now works at Valley in the Special Education Department.

Todd Nelson graduated from Valley in 2003. He is entering his 4th year as an assistant. Nelson works with the wide receivers, defensive backs, and the place kickers. Coach Nelson played four years of football while attending Valley. As a senior he was one of four team captains. He also received numerous accolades including All-Conference as a Wide Receiver and All-County Middletown Press as a Place Kicker. He went on to play one year of college football at Nichols College in Massachusetts.

Bob Narducci graduated from Valley in 1977 where he was a four year player for the football team. He attended Lock Haven University in Pennsylvania where he also played football for four years. After graduation Coach Narducci coached at his college alma mater, Valley and Southern CT State University. He is employed by D.C.F., lives in Essex, and enjoys spending time with his daughter Shelby.

Joe Radomski graduated from Valley in 2004. Joe was a defensive tackle, linebacker, and fullback. He was named "All Conference" in 2003 for Defensive Tackle. He is entering his 3rd season as a coach at Valley. Joe's responsibility is to work with the younger athletes and assist on the sidelines during the Varsity games.

Steve Woods - Former Head Coach at both Valley Regional and Old Saybrook, Coach Woods ("senior") brings his many years of experience and great enthusiasm to the Warriors staff this year. After a two-year hiatus from coaching football, he is really looking forward to working with his old coaching buddies and his son to help the Warriors have a successful season. Coach Woods also coaches baseball and is the head girls basketball coach at Old Saybrook High School where he is a Special Education Teacher. He resides in Westbrook with his wife Sharon, their sons Kevin and Kyle and daughter Caitlin.

Pete Woodcock - graduated from Valley in 1979 and attended Thames Valley State Technical College. Pete has been involved with the Tri Town Football League since 2000 and has coached at all 3 levels. Last year he was the league president.
