FAQs

Do I need a physical on file?
All players must have a current physical on file with the school nurse; please contact the school's health office with additional questions.

How will I know when the games are?
As soon as we have a schedule, it will be handed out to every player. It will also be posted on the web site.

How are the players transported to away games?
All players travel as a team by leaving and returning to the school on a bus. Parents may join the team at away sites via their own transportation.

Can I take my son in my own vehicle from an away game?
Please call the school office for more details.

What if I need to pick up my son early from an away game?
Please call the school office for more details.

How do I get directions to a school game site?
Directions can be found under the Games page on this web site. Click on the game schedule, which will list directions. Note some games are not played at the school, but on their annex fields.

What fundraisers do I need to participate in?
All of them. The Touchdown Club does have fundraisers throughout the year and every player is required to participate. If you happen to be working the day of the event, hanging posters, helping with publicity, selling tickets and making something prior to the date is acceptable. Parents are also needed to help work and to act in supervisory positions.

How can parents keep up-to-date with team events?
You can keep an eye on the web site; e-mail your address as noted under "Contact Us" to be put on the e-mail list and attend Touchdown Club meetings as noted under the "Touchdown Club" section.

What is the Football Banquet
?
The football banquet is usually held the first Sunday in December to honor our players. An invitation along with a respond card are sent to the player's family in November.

What is a pasta dinner?
Pasta dinners are held the night before games. It is usually hosted by one of the team members family, where they provide a pasta dinner for the players. It is an opportunity for team to get together, talk and get pumped up about the game. Some hosts ask that each player bring an item to share like drinks, dessert, bread or salad, others prefer to provide the whole dinner. Directions will be given to the host home prior to the dinner.

How do I sign up to host a pasta dinner?
Contact the Touchdown Club to volunteer.
What should I know about football camp?
The team pariticpates in one to two summer football camps each year. Information will be made available to the players to sign up.
